Here are some of the beautiful, handmade items you will find in the Carriage House when we open our doors.
While wandering through Plimouth Plantation (a reenactment site of the original Pilgrim village) I noticed that many of the tables were covered with rugs instead of tablecloths. Many early settlers used this method to protect furniture, and many current cultures still do. Sometimes people use quilts or quilt tops as tablecovers; or they use table runners and placemats in unique ways. There are so many different creative ideas out there for the upcoming holidays. What will you use to decorate your holiday table?
